Throughout her nonprofit career, Ms. Harrison has raised more than $3.2 million to help further the mission of the organizations she’s served. She has led various fundraising and marketing campaigns, executed and trained peer-to-peer fundraising for staff, regional boards and external donors. Nickita has executed event production and logistics for galas, golf tournaments, 150 Mile bike ride, 5K walks and more. She has crafted campaign case for support materials, content for websites, newsletters, social media messaging and managing crowdfunding sites.

In 2017, Nickita’s entrepreneurial aspirations became a reality when she started Orangewood Designs, a full-service event planning and marketing company. She’s able to optimize her many years of being an event planner and creative ideas in order to personalize memorable events such as weddings, socials, nonprofit functions and more.

Nickita resides in Arlington with her chihuahua Nixon. In her spare time, she loves visiting museums/historical sites, traveling, volunteering at her church, and spending time with family. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
