Purpose

NVBCC Ambassadors serve as goodwill representatives of the Chamber, helping to welcome new members, strengthen member engagement, promote Chamber programs, and support the growth of the Black business community throughout Northern Virginia.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Ambassador Program, applicants should:

  • Be an active NVBCC member in good standing.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the Chamber's mission and values.
  • Maintain a positive and professional reputation within the business community.
  • Have an interest in networking, community engagement, and member success.
  • Be willing to dedicate time to Chamber events and initiatives.

Ambassador Expectations

Ambassadors are expected to:

  • Attend at least one Chamber event each month.
  • Welcome and engage new members at Chamber events.
  • Introduce guests and prospective members to Chamber leadership.
  • Assist with event registration, networking, and member hospitality when needed.
  • Promote Chamber events and initiatives through their professional and social networks.
  • Refer prospective members, sponsors, and strategic partners.
  • Participate in Ambassador meetings and training sessions.
  • Represent NVBCC professionally at all times.
